A Note from Our Web Master
Dear Friends of Joe & Kathy Wasmond,
I am not usually the one to make appearances on the front page of a web site like this. I am perfectly content working behind the scenes making sure that their site is up and running, but I would like to share my thoughts with you about Joe & Kathy.
I have been working with the Wasmonds for some time showing up at their home offices in the early morning hours to format their newsletters you have all received (see the links to all their PDF newsletter files, blog, FaceBook and YouTube), fix anything Joe probably messed up on his computer and bring him into the computer age kicking and screaming.
And you know what? I wouldn’t trade these times for anything. It has allowed me to get to know two of the most wonderful people I have ever met.
The Wasmonds have devoted their lives to serving God and spreading His Word around the world in over sixty countries. They are changing the world One Heart at a Time, mine included.
They bring the Light to unbelievers and help the rest of us to keep walking in the Light. They would give the shirts off their backs to anyone.
They need our continued help and support.
Last year when Kathy was diagnosed with cancer in September, ’08 and went through all the chemo therapy and a stem cell transplant in ’09 to bring her today to molecular remission, I have never seen a couple go through something like this with such a trust and dependence on the Lord in my life.
I will never forget the night Joe organized the first prayer meeting for Kathy (see the YouTube below) after she received the news that she had been diagnosed with Stage Four cancer. Kathy said to a room full of friends and family with Joe holding her tight, “It’s all about living.” I truly hope that one day I can be as strong as they were in the face of adversity.
Now, I have created a second YouTube presentation of the night they celebrated Kathy’s victory over cancer (see below).
As strong as they are, please keep them in your prayers and keep giving to their ministry.
I pray that you will enjoy the YouTube slideshows I did for them that depict just a small part of their life’s journey.
